Over 13 lakh people were affected in five districts of Andhra Pradesh. Thousands are reported missing, lakhs are still stranded. Kurnool, Mahboobnagar, Krishna, Guntur and Nalgonda are the worst affected districts. Overall, nearly 400 villages of Andhra Pradesh have been affected by the floods.
VOICE is focusing on proving emergency services like distributing food to flood victims at Kurnool and surrounding villages besides providing other essentials. Voice is conducting medical camps and planning to provide necessary medication to the affected people. As a part of the relief activities, VOICE is providing financial support to the affected and needy people. It is also directly interacting with the families and enquiring about their immediate needs, thereby trying ‘its best’ to provide the same.
How to make a Difference:VOICE requests aid and support to help the helpless people in the flooded areas who are in dire necessity. VOICE is striving sincerely to extend its ‘helping hand’ along with other organizations to support in every possible way. It is looking forward for the enormous support from the brothers and sisters of the country and beyond. You can help by providing food, or any supplies which can be delivered quickly and efficiently.
